CORN QUALITY UPDATES Seed corn quality has looked very good this fall, as we move to more ASAP bagging (i.e. still warm from the drier) we will likely see more moisture equilibration issues occuring. Read more SOYBEAN QUALITY UPDATES During my trip to the Western in Kansas City we noticed soybeans still out in the field and several fields being combined yet on Nov 7, so we put together an analysis of quality by weeks in Table 1. below. Read more SORGHUM QUALITY UPDATES Sorghum harvest is nearly complete and germination testing is picking up. Side-by-side testing (no prechill versus 7-day 10°C prechill), we found that the West Texas produced new crop sorghum does not any significant level of seed dormancy.
